I personally use very little tape. I like keeping the stick feeling light and also like direct contact and feedback from the stick without a dampening layer. I personally love using a very small amount of this stuff.

Been looking at the QRE pants... I currently have CCM 7092 in Medium, but I've lost a little weight and now I almost have to cinch the waist too much.    Unfortunately I've not been able to find any locally to try on, so my main concern about the QREs is that they'll be too short in a Small for me.  I'm 5'10" 155lbs with a 30" waist.

Sounds like no issues with protection/coverage with a Small?

No, it's not that I consider the pricing high at all... it's more I've not worn Surgeon elbows before and if I don't have the option to see them at a local store then there's some risk that I might not like the fit since I've not worn elbows with a sleeve.

Also curious if the 14 Day No Risk also apply to gear like the elbow pads?  Really interested in trying them out, but would hate to get stuck with a pricey/risky return policy.
