  1. For sure, the quad 1 is working great for me.
  2. Yea, I did not like the Zuperior at all.
  3. Profile - Quad 1 Steel – Step 272 Hollow – 3/4" Skates - CCM Super Tacks size 8 with Superfeet Carbon pro hockey inserts. About Me – I've been skating regularly for 10 years, started in my early 20's and have been working on my skating ever since. I've done several power skating classes to help improve along with plenty of extra ice time to put it all together and practice. I am usually on the ice 3-4 times a week between beer league and sticks and pucks. I had my skates profiled for the first time about 3 years ago to a 10' and it was an immediate improvement to the stock CCM steel which did not seem very consistent. I've been curious about trying some other profiles and came across the Prosharp Project and it seemed like a great way to find out what works best for me. Review - This is the one! Feels very similar to the Quad 0 but with the added top end speed and stability that I was looking for. Making quick cuts, turns, and transitions all felt very similar to the Quad 0. Forward skating, backward skating and crossovers all feel good, I was able to accelerate quickly in both of those directions and I felt good in net front and board battles. I feel a lot more confident on my skates and in turn it makes me more confident in games which is a plus. Acceleration - 4.5 Mobility - 4.5 Stability – 4.5 Speed – 4.5 Profiles I've tried rated best to worst: 1. Quad 1 2. Quad 0 3. 10'-20' 4.10' (control) 5. Zuperior M
  4. Profile - Quad 0 Steel – Step 272 Hollow – 3/4" Skates - CCM Super Tacks size 8 with Superfeet Carbon pro hockey inserts. Review - Vs the single 10', this profile feels better in acceleration and mobility, a little better in stability and speed. I have 5 hours on this profile so far which includes 3 games. Improved mobility and acceleration are the biggest things I noticed so far with this profile. Making quick cuts, turns, and transitions all felt very easy to do. Forward and backwards skating felt good, I was able to accelerate quickly in both of those directions and I felt good in net front and board battles. I am missing the higher stability and top end speed of the 10'-20' profile though. If I can get the stability and top end speed of the 10'-20' with the acceleration and mobility of this Quad 0 then I will be very happy, maybe the Quad 1 is what I need. Acceleration - 4.5 Mobility - 4.5 Stability – 3.5 Speed – 3.5 Profiles I've tried rated best to worst: 1. Quad 1 2. Quad 0 3. 10'-20' 4.10' (control) 5. Zuperior M
  5. Profile - Zuperior M Steel – Step 272 Hollow – 3/4" Skates - CCM Super Tacks size 8 with Superfeet Carbon pro hockey inserts. Review - Vs the single 10', this profile felt worse in mobility, slower in acceleration, it felt more stable, and had a little more speed, but that could be due to the fact that I felt more stable so I was able to carry the speed better/more confidently. Forward and backward skating felt alright but anything laterally or trying to make quick cuts and moves felt like I was skating in mud. I couldn't get the quick little bursts of speed and felt like I had to work a lot more which was evident by my calves burning after an hour of skating. I do think it might benefit from from a shallower RoH. So far out of the single 10', the 10'-20' and the Zuperior M, I like this one the least. That might change as I have a couple more profiles to try out. Acceleration - 2 Mobility - 1 Stability – 4 Speed – 3.5 Profiles I've tried rated best to worst: 1. Quad 1 2. Quad 0 3. 10'-20' 4. 10' (control) 5. Zuperior M
  6. Profile - 10'-20' Steel – Step 272 Hollow – 3/4" Skates - CCM Super Tacks size 8 with Superfeet Carbon pro hockey inserts. Review - Vs the single 10', this profile feels similar in mobility, a little bit faster in acceleration, it felt more stable and definitely has more speed, a lot more. I have skated on this profile for 4-5 hours so far, which included playing 2 games. The speed is the biggest thing I noticed, going back to pick the puck up and coming around the net with some crossovers, I was easily able to accelerate to my top speed and fly out of the zone. I was able to chase down other players easier and felt solid on my skates in some board and net front battles. Out of the single 10', the Zuperior M, and the 10'-20', the 10'-20' is my favorite so far, I still have a couple more profiles to try out so that might change. Acceleration - 3 Mobility - 2.5 Stability – 4 Speed – 4.5 Profiles I've tried rated best to worst: 1. Quad 1 2. Quad 0 3. 10'-20' 4. 10' (control) 5. Zuperior M

Review - This is my control profile, just the stock 10' from Step. I skated on it for about 2 months before sending it out to get a feel for the taller steel. I've been skating on 10' for about 3 years and it does everything alright. I rated it average in all 4 categories. I wanted a little more acceleration and better stability, speed and mobility were good but not great. Acceleration - 2.5 Mobility - 2.5 Stability – 2.5 Speed – 2.5 Profiles I've tried rated best to worst: 1. Quad 1 2. Quad 0 3. 10'-20' 4. 10' (control) 5. Zuperior M
