Got a couple new twigs.
Semin TotalOne. I love the curve but the flex is a bit too much at 112. When I do get the time to flex load, it was a heck of a shot.

I agree completely. Punish the action and not the result. I also feel though, that if you've been ejected twice in a week (rightfully or wrongfully so) you should probobly sit a game or two as a 'tone it down' or 'use your brain' kinda deal. Whether it be hits from behind, a knee, a slash, a fighting type of ejection or a combination of any of those if your racking up misconducts they should probobly just suspend the player a game or two.AllSmoke I know we havn't seen eye to eye ni the past but talking in general here not just about Ovechkin.
What did you feel about Malkin's two majors last year during the playoffs then? Should he have been suspended?

No but seriously you should go have him sign it and see what he says, it'll be pretty funnyI plan to go after practice and get him to sign it. I might have my girlfriend snap some pictures just to see the reaction.

THockey, you seem to have a lot of experience with M3's, or anyone...Does this seem like a pretty good deal or a waste of money for an 18 year old?

I'm not sure if I could afford M3 parts and the mileage is pretty high, but this seems like it's in great condition for a 1997.
18 year old and M3 besides insurance being ridiculous its overkill and not needed. I'd pass.

Having 3 classes left in the year is great. Trying to convince the rents that no, I do not need a grad present, is a tough one however.College or HS? I agree HS one is not really necessary.
If they are insistent though ask for a nice watch or piece of jewelry (ring, chain whatever you wear) that you can have engraved with from mom and dad or whatever.
My mother got me a very nice watch and had it engraved and it will be something I hold on to forever and let you reminisce about them if needed.

Some really nice 4 rolls I love them right now they are the pride of my starting to grow collection.
Really nice gloves. I swear after I bought my eagles I said I'm done buying gloves for a couple years. But after seeing those and some of the other nice gear in this thread the itch is coming up.

$45.00 bucks for a MIA/ RBK Pro glove, WOW!!!Caps generally have good prices at their equipment sale.
Not sure on the shins/elbows/shoulders.
Also, one thing I was ticked about, no tape this year. Last year they had hundreds of rolls of tape for $1 each. Great deal, but nada this year

Very nice, whats the feel like in the palms?Unbelievable, considering I'm coming from fairly middle of the road gloves. Really really REALLY soft and holding the stick is completely different feel for me.
I'm sure if you are used to high end gloves it's not that big a difference but coming from RBK or Vector 4's to these, it's completely different.
I think I saw Hockeysc23 in line too with sticks and such, so I'm sure he will be putting stuff up too.
Also, Kozlov's curve (one of the guys picked up 2 of his sticks) in person, is one of the wierdest curves I've ever seen

I'm personally not a fan of tipping. I realize it's pretty ingrained, but it sort of [...]Ok, my mom worked for tips for a long time and my wife still does (hairdresser, you pervs) so my take might be a little biased.
First off, it's against postal regulations to tip the mailman. There's a good reason for it, too.
Secondly, Thanks to Reaganomics, wait staffs in most places are paid WELL below the minimum wage.
Actually thats not 100% true. They get paid minimum wage if there tips + wage (2-3 dollars) does not get to minimum wage. So they are guaranteed at least minimum wage.
That being said when I go out a waiter starts at 15% and works him/herself up or down depending on how they do.
