    Hey guys! Finally got back on the ice after awhile because of a new job and what not. Anyway, have a few new additions to show off. First my completely stock Super Tacks!

    Even stock these things are the most comfortable skates I've ever tried on, right out of the box I knew they were for me. After the first skate that hasn't worn even a bit, and can't imagine missing my APX's. Then these baby's came today finally, thanks Stella!! Nick Leddy (my favorite player, sorry JT) Bauer Nexus' in great shape! Can't wait to give them a go tomorrow.

    Also added some Nexus Shoulders but nothing really to see there even though they are very nice.

    Thanks! The pic really doesn't even do them justice, the colors are just so vibrant in person. I tried to capture them in natural light but I just need a better camera. Anyway, I love them so much. Can't wait for my next trip to the Island, need a pair of Shells to go with!

    So after finishing off some older sticks that were still in good shape due to not playing for awhile it was time to get some new twigs. Seeing as have very rarely snapped a stick, rather wear out the blades and $$ being a bit tighter at the moment I thought I'd return to the ole 2-piece. 2 Total One NXG shafts and blades, 87 flex P92 (Backstrom) pattern.

    Few of my recent pick ups. Grabbed a barely used pair of 8090's off of eBay a few weeks ago. My Harrow 300pro gloves from X-mas that I'm trying to get used to. Then last weekend's pick up from Pure Hockey up in Needham. I made the mistake of trying on the TotoalOne elbows. Damn things fit perfectly and don't budge!

    Nice! Running my T1 elbows for the first time in a couple hours. I hear ya about trying them on though, wow do they sit sweet!

    Thanks! Not something I was looking forward to. Even the guy helping me find my new stuff at my LHS knew I was replacing the irreplaceable. Oh well, gotta go forward and if I can get half the life outta my new stuff I did my old Jofa's it'll be money well spent.

    So the time has been coming and today I finally pulled the plug on my old gear. Jofa 6090's and 5044's were the best and will be missed.

    So new T1 shins and elbows. RS pants, I went into the shop wanting the T1's but after trying them one I didn't like the waist strap pulling/digging into my lower back. Then my "I couldn't resist" purchase. E700 matte helmet. All I can say is WOW! That bucket is SWEET!

    Grabbed my first pair of new rbk socks and my needed the new jock in a bad way. So just will replace my Jofa shoulders during the spring/summer to finish my much needed protective upgrade.

    Hey guys, been outta playin' for quite awhile and have really missed it. Finally back and have started to update the gear. Been a couple of pieces I've really been eyeing and finally saved up for. So home today with these bad boys. Simple retail but damn are they comfortable! After baking the APX's they felt life a dream. Can't wait to try these out on the ice! Anyway, cheers!

    Helmet: NBH 5550 With 8550 cage

    Skates: RBK 9k Pumps :D (i love them)

    Shins:Bauer 6000

    Pants: Nike Bauer XX lite

    Elbows: Bauer 2000

    Shoulder: Bauer 8000

    Gloves: Easton Air (04 model i think)

    Sticks: Warrior Dolomite 2 piece with dolomite balde, Rbk 5k

    Love you have 9k's, as do I... but love the Trivium avatar better. \m/

    Helmet: Bauer 5000 with old Itech cage - can't wait to turn 18 and get a visor

    Shoulder Pads: RBK 8K - doesn't get better

    Elbow Pads: RBK 7K - never slip off

    Gloves: Eagle X70i - the palm is shit and they are not that comfortable

    Pants: Bauer 8000 - My shirt ALWAYS gets stuck behind!!

    Shin Pads: RBK 7K - 8K are too big (all the way with RBK/Jofa protectives)

    Skates: RBK 8K - Love the fit

    Sticks: Just broke RBK 6K and Synergy ST Grip. Now i have a crapy Bauer Endure - I hate the feel on that stick. It is no where near as good as the RBK 6K or my old Synergy ST. The 6K was really weak though...

    Nice, ALMOST have as much Jofa/Rbk as I do lol :lol: . As far as the protective end, can't and won't use anything else. Only thing that isn't by them is my OPS's and if I wear my XXX gloves instead of my 8k's depending on what position I'm playing.

    Helmet - Bauer 5000, True Vision Cage - Absolute best, original, ther is no better

    Shoulders - Syngergy 900 - awsome, microbacterial lining drys fast

    Elbows - Bauer 8000 love the 3 piece, fits great, protects great

    Pants - old school bauer vapor 8 girdle, always loved girdles but its fallin' apart, going to go with new one90 pants I think

    Shins - old school bauer vapor 6's had them for about 6 seasons, way overdue for new ones, although they are the BEST!!!!!! (12inchers, im probably a 14 by now) im going with one90 all the way

    Gloves - Vapor XXX feels best on your hand, sticks always feel best with these plams, they rock!!!

    Skates - Vapor XXX these were like butter when I 1st tried them on, unbelievable feel, a little stiff but I like that, definantley going to go with the Vapor XXXX's when they come by in june, and get the thoughts of vector ovechkins out of my mind

    Sticks - one90 - awsome power, slapper from the blue feels like im playing with a corked bat compare the vapor XX, although very comparable to the Vapor XXX-lite, which does have a better feel.

    I LOVE MY GEAR.

    Hearing good things is getting me more psyched for my XXX gloves. Can't wait to get them and head to the rink. Between them and my 8k's my hands are in good shape whether I play forward or back on D.

    Hey, wow. I'm blind. Just noticed the 9k's have LS's, nice skates bud.

    Thanks bro.:D Put them on my Vectors before these and I just like the feel the best.

    Itech has a few logos on their visors, eh? I've seen the OG blue, the "I" Oakley ripoff, and the red. I recall seeing the red logo on NHL ref visors, not so much on players.

    Didn't ever pay that much attention to the logo but I looked and the picture was with the blue logo so. Probably just an old picture though. Anyway, it's clear and thats alot more then I can say of my old one. :lol:
