  1. Well Theo had himself a solid game last night. The Team looked pretty good, except for their breakdown at the end of the game. Theo had to make too many saves at the end. It seems like their best defense is when they're on the attack. When they ease up on the forecheck and let the other teams hit the blueline with some speed, they crumble. A lot of the forwards seemed to be spinning around. I'd like them to be attacking even at the end of the game just to see how it works. Im intrested in seeing how they look tonight with their new lineup against Tampa. Id assume Carlson is sent back down to make room for Corvo and Erskine is scratched for Juice. Also Fleishmann will be moved back to the wing to make room for Belanger. Taking a stab at the lines:

    OV-Backs-Knuble

    Flash-BMO-Semin

    Laich-Belanger-Chimera

    Bradley/Gordon-Steckel-Fehr

The 2nd n 3rd line will be played with a little to find the best fit.

    Forget greene?

  2. Skated in them again this morning. I can't believe how light these things feel. Even better today. I am very happy with this skate.

Not sure if my hockey shop put the FBV sharpening on them or not, but I was fooling around and with one push I covered the width of an Olympic size surface gliding on one skate. Only the boards stopped me. I never noticed that type of glide in a skate before.

If your thinking about these skates and they fit...GET THEM. You won't be disappointed.

nothins more important in a highend skate then how far it can take us before we have to work again!

  3. The agony!!

On second thought, send the blade into Harrow/Christian and have them whip up some customs.

Do they still do this? I've been looking for a company that still makes custom carbon blades and figured they stopped making them.

If you do order custom Carbon Kovalchuck blades ( that is assuming your RH) Put me down for one!!

  4. I live in upstate New York where when it snows hard overnight they just send the plows out an hour earlier and go on about their lives. When I was going to school in PA any forecast of 3-4 inches of snow for the night and no one did their homework since it was pretty much a guarentee there wouldn't be any school.

Chadd- Didn't PA just sign over the care of the roads and bridges to a private company?

Tell me about it...I live in rochester...only way we get off school is if its too cold to walk (-25F). I guess -10 is still too warm. :(

  5. They may be grippy but it may be a dry tack, which isn't what Easton had. Neumanns would be the closest I've seen and I think they're pretty much illegal in a lot of leagues for their grip. Maybe eBay has some. My guess if they're around is the formula has been changed, making me wish I'd kept my pair from HS.

The cutters i have for HS ball now get grippier as they get wet. Is that what you are referring too with the Neumans?

  6. Just got these beauties a week ago

Custom X70's, with MSH2 palm and gussets. I came in expecting a rather tight fit after trying on some solid finger X70's, but the feel and volume of these gloves just blew me away. The best part was the time it took to get them, a mere 6 weeks.

Out of curiosity, why did you choose portofino/carbon?

Tufftek seems to be the popular material now-a-days
