  1. David Perron

I have to give you much deserved credit here.

You have more grit than most people could imagine

Absolutely great job last night of picking yourself up off the ice after the hit.

A mark of a true pro hockey player is that you played better and better each shift after the hit.

    Once again great job

  2. David Perron has played fantastic in the last 3 games

His lack of assists this year boils down to other players failing to bury the puck.

Perron easily could have had a 3 point night agains't Colorado.

Blues have to make some changes in the offseason

I am confident with a few upgrades the Blues will be a much improved team next season with David Perron leading the way.

It is true that the Blues have drafted some very good players and none better than Perron.

  3. This is now the third goal that has been taken away from David Perron by the Home town scorekeepers.

Not too mention last night the goal was taken away one hour after the game had ended.

Watched hockey a long time and I have never seen a goal changed that long after a game has ended.

Oh well he sure has not had any lucky breaks this season scoring wise because he would have 20 goals by now.

Keep Plugging away David it will all balance out some day.

    The penalty calls where garbage.

Perron is held trying to go in on goal and they call him for highsticking.

  4. David has some comments as well.

“It's the first coach I've had in the NHL,” Perron, 21, said. “In juniors, we had a coach that had played in the NHL, and (under him) we weren't worried too much about the other team, we just worried about our game. I think we have done that a lot lately (worry about the other team).

“And on the road, sometimes we just go play and it doesn't matter with the matchups. So maybe that's one thing we have to look at. But in a way, it doesn't matter, we just have to beat our matchup.”

As for his own relationship with Murray, Perron acknowledged they were not always on the same page. But he also noted that in and of itself is not noteworthy.

“I'll be honest with you, I've always played my game no matter what.” Perron added. “There's a lot of stuff that we didn't agree on, obviously. There's a lot of stuff we did agree on, as well. No matter what boss or coach you have in life you have to deal with it.

“I think he was a good guy and everything, but the most important thing now is to move forward and look forward to tonight.”

  5. I think David will benefit from Murray long term because of Murray's high value system and life lessons.

That said this move was much needed because the entire team was regressing almost from the get go this season.

I would like people to know that David Perron played hard right up until his last shift under Murray beating an icing call.

David Perron never quit on this coach for the record.

I am sure David would agree Best of Luck to Andy Murray.

  6. None of the young Blues will shine under Murray

Just be patient David you are still playing very well and do not take it personally.

The most disappointing thing with Murray is that Every game you start almost from the ground up.

The accomplishments of the game before are ignored.

Actually what people have to realize is it is even more amazing what David Perron has accomplished under Murray.

It truly is, I would think that many young players would wither under this man.

PS : David Don't let the media trick you into saying anything.

Things will play out and take care of themselves. Stay as far away from this as you can.

  7. Drew three penalties and the Blues scored on all three, the last one being as time expired

Yes he still has no points.

He has played the last 3 games as well as any time he has been a Blue

Just snakebit I guess, but I do not know if anyone can play any better than he has been.

You guys all know hockey and that is the way it happens. You can play like crap and have a puck hit you in the rear end and you get a point.

Oh yea he is now a full time penalty killer so he plays in all situations and is off the point on the PP now and plays on the half wall. I guess if they gave a third assit he would have had it on the first goal as he started the whole sequence.
