My beloved Easton S19 helmet got cracked so I hopped online to buy a new helmet. I've had mine for several years so it's been a while since I've shopped; I've been very happy with it so I figured I'd just get the latest Easton model similar to the S19. (I like how it fits, as well as it being very low profile -- good for my giant head ). Looked like I'd get the E700, which looks like an evolved S19 with good reviews. However from what I've seen... have ALL Easton helmets been discontinued? The E700 and lower models are the only ones listed on Easton's own website, yet they do not exist anywhere for sale (even on ebay or clearance, all I can find is small and XS, or in rare colors... need a large, ideally black). I've read some stuff about unbranded or rebranded Easton helmets, but don't really know much about that. If I cannot find one anywhere, are there any replacements on the horizon? Or a Bauer or something with a nearly identical low-profile shell? Anything with a similar fit? Or is Easton toast and am I starting completely from scratch now looking for an all new brand, style and fit that I like? Thanks!
