  1. TLDR: Teammate 3d printed a handle for me, it is sweet. I have always used a wooden extension in my stick, for the last couple years as I have become a better skater I have been slowly cutting the extension down. The sweet spot for me seems to be only about a 1/2in extra onto the stick so I build up a knob using half width tape. Cutting down a full 6inch wood extension seems like a waste and adding some extra weight - asked a teammate with a 3d printer "hey can you make this" It came out awesome - I just need to lightly sand down the edges to save the palms of my glove and then toss 1 wrap of tape around it. https://imgur.com/a/P1lsF (sorry for the link, could not figure out where to upload here)
  2. Just picked up a vapor 1X 2015 model 102 flex from HM. I need to add a little length so I have a standard wood plug that I have used in other brands of sticks. It goes about half way in and stops. I pushed very hard and nothing. Am I missing something? I actually ordered a round plug also but it is way too small. Appreciate any help
  3. I have a Bauer Nexus 400 INT 60 flex. I always use INT sticks uncut if they are 57" because I like a really whippy flex and have to cut SR sticks too much. I recently got an Oggie Classic grip after searching around, and I want to try it out, but I never realized you have to cut almost 8" off of the stick to attach it. I have never put in a plug but I want to know if I cut my 60 flex, then put this grip on, will it make up for the cut and return it to the original 60-ish flex, or will the flex be determined by the cut, meaning it will now be closer to 80. Thanks in advance.
