8090, 5090, 2090

In reviewing old posts, I read something that I thought was interesting but six months ago nobody really had an answer for. There seemed to be a thought that the Bauer 5090 was basically the same skate as the 2090, and that both fit like the 8090, which is a wider boot than the vapor line. If this is all true, the wider boot would be wider in the toe cap, ball area, heel, which area exactly? Is the heel pocket still narrow? It would seem that if the 2090 is a wider boot, and basically as good as the 5090, for the money it would be a good rec league skate for somebody needing a wider boot like CCM offers. Am I a dork (it's retorical, don't answer the dork part!)?
