Chiles05 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 My nephew has it as he has disposable income and bought it when it first came out. He says it is great. Check out www.cnet.com for a full review. I have heard that although it plays movies the format is proprietary to Sony and there are very few choices in that regard right now. You also have to buy the new game format so if you have PS2 at home and have many games you may be spending money to duplicate games you already own. The other feature - an MP3 player is very nice, but Sony provides the PSP with only a tiny bit of memory so you will need to upgrade that right away if you intend on carrying a good number of songs.All this being said it has gotten great reviews - see CNET and if we didn't own PS2 at home and an MP3 player already I would probably look into buying one.
