If someone on here is really good with computers,please help me out.

Here is my problem, when I go into paint and try to open up an image from the internet, a thing pops up and says " this is not a valid bitmap file,or its format is not currently supported".How would I change it to support more files

You're only going to be able to open very basic image fiels in Paint. (JPG/GIF/TIFF/BMP etc...)

Are those the formats you are trying to open?

yes,but it wont let me open anything other than bitmap files

I found my problem and I need to download a bunch of stuff like word and everything, as when my computer was fixed the place didnt upload anything other then the basic things
