Compensation Picks

Just curious, if anyone knew whether the teams that are losing these players are being compensated at all. I know in the old CBA, there was, and that was why players were being traded to low market teams and such. Not sure if it was just cancelled out in the new CBA or modified. If anyone knows about the terms/clauses of it, that'd be nice to know.

I was talking about UFAs, sorry, I should've clarified. In the old CBA, you'd get a pick, if you were a "poorer" team and had a guy signed away. Thats why teams would traded away a star player to nobody the night before their UFA status.
