anyone had any experience with these shoulder pads a hockey shop is selling them real cheap and i want to get a pair as i play contact roller so i have to wear shoulder pads as im only 14 but i dont want big bulky ones.

i have these. i think they are great pads, but i dont know if they'd be very good for contact hockey. the shoulders dont have very much give in them, so if you were to light someone up or get lit-up, they might not be the best. the PE insert in the front and back are pretty nice, my only complaint is i wished the front PE insert was a bit longer.

but as they are 10 english pounds i really want to get them but the smallest size they have is xl would this be ok for me im not skinny not fat neither jus in the middle but big for my age. Im not worried for protection just about them being legal because as of now i am using koho 4440 with the caps taken off.

well, in that case, get them. the shoulder caps are adjustable. you could even remove them completely if you wanted too. XL shouldnt be bad at all. the worse case is they just wont fit snug to your body (due to the strapping on the sides). if you are just wearing them to play legally, i think they'll be fine. i've taken stick ends and pucks to the chest, and was thankful i had them on.

Playa 28 where are they £10? just hockey? im gonna get me some! I ended up making my own out of different types of shoulder pads so they were similar! if theyre that price ill get some! im using the hypertection at the moment but its not legal in my league!
