Made by different companies. Different wheels, bearings, chassis and materials used. Missions seemed (He vs. Max) to be a lighter boot. I believe Missions Quattro line this year will have some Rink Rat wheels on them, where Tour is staying with labeda. They fit differently, perform differently because of the chassis and weights. It's all dependant on what you like. The Hum'mer seems to be hit and miss.

Welcome to the board. There are so many differences and similarities between them. EZ was nice enough to list a few. The best thing to do would be to use the search option. Type in "Mission Roller" "Tour" something along those lines and just go through all of the old topics. There are so many knowledgeable people on here, there is just so much info available.

To give you a quick run down on my opinions:

Mission: I have not liked any of the newer Mission releases that had the DNA strand lacing system. I just never felt I get them pulled tight enough and feel supported. Some people have had problems with their DNA strands popping off altogether. The HE lineup has been light, with the HE950 being very light with the new MG (red) chasses. People had complaints with the Factory wheels that came stock on them though. The new Quattro line is an all new design. Very lightweight, and they have gotten rid of the DNA for a traditional eyelet setup. The stock Rink Rat wheels are a huge upgrade from last series' stock wheels. I have ALWAYS been a huge fan of Mission quality. Aside from the DNA strand issues, Mission boots have always been top quality in my book. And they have amazing customer service that stands behind the product 100%. I have a pair of skates that were like 2nd highest model in 99 and they are still usable. Extremely happy with the money I spent and what I got from them.

Tour: I just got a pair of Tour boots for the first time recently. I usually strayed from Tour because they always looked very wide, and the quality of the G series was questionable. The only really good thing I heard about the G series was the Sensor frame that came on them. My Tour Code 1s are very good though. Very light, stiff, well constructed boot. The Hummer chassis is lightweight, but the all 80mm wheel setup (as opposed to the Mission Hi-lo 72-72-80-80 setup) will take getting used to. I've played about 5 games in them, and I'm pretty used to them. Speed is great, but I would say maneuverability on the initial push-off is lacking. I just felt the Mission HiLo skates offered a little quicker start. Other than that, I can't be more pleased. I don't know about durability as the skates are still relatively new.

When all is said and done, it all comes down to personal preference. Again, try using the search function. There are plenty of topics. Many are very recent about the Tour as well as new Mission lineup. Sizing, feel, durability, availability, best pricing are all easy to research once you use the search.
