masterpirate13 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 I just purchased some old school nike ignites. I was wondering if there was any way that you can make the break in process shorter. I guess kinda a way to heat mold the old school skates. I've heard of wearing wet socks and tieing your skates really tight...are there any other ways? Thanks all... Whip 0 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 Don't use the wet sock method, the water will weaken the insides of the boot, just wear it around the house. Another way is go to your LHS and get a chassis and wheels then use them as roller blades that will replicate acutal skating.
jeffw 1 Report post Posted September 18, 2005 I may be mistaken but I believe the Ignite 1 and 2 were heat moldable.
