Top of the line shorts

I was the proud owner of the easton synergy comp shorts...for about 4 weeks, the padding on the leg is broken, and they dig into my hips which is causing discomfort outside of hockey aswell now. So which are the best more comfortable shrots around, i like the idea of the takla shorts with the gel hip padding but am not sure which their top model is. Any suggestings for new shorts would be appreciated
