Mission skate: Ice vs. Roller

I currently have a pair of Mission Type M roller skate in size 8. My toe hits the cap of the skate. I am looking for a pair of Mission ice skates. Should I get size 8.5 or 9? My toes are not cramped, but I get a blister on my seecond toe.

I think for ice or roller, Mission skates generally fit towards your shoe size, so whatever that is go with it. If you wear an 8 go with an 8. Unless you're still growing, then maybe go a half size up.

the skates really don't fit to your shoe size unless you are size 11 shoe and up...On average, our skates run 1/2 to a full size down from you shoe...I personally wear a 10 shoe and a 8.5 skate.

If you are wearing an 8 Type M, I would probably go to a size 8.5 at the biggest....

Just my guess.

So is ths chart acurate. The roller hockey run a half size smaller? So an 8.5 ice is equal to a 9 roller mission skate.

The ice and Roller skates now fit the same...Ice used to fit smaller than roller, but now they fit identical. Use the Ice skate sizing.....

When did they become the same size?

My type M's are a few years old and the mission ice skate I am looking at are 2003 pureflys? So would they be he same or would the 8.5 pureflys equal a 9 type M?

Sorry for all the questions just want to get all the information I can.
