Skate sizing

I am having trouble sizing some skates...I wear a size 8 street shoe , I got a size 6.5D Bauer xx's and they seem to tight but the right length...how much of a diffrence is say a E width would they be way to wide?...I dont have a LHS to try them on so Im hoping I can get some help here....any other skate fittings especially the mission pure flys and S-400's would be helpfull...thanks a ton

The Vapor series are the narrowest fitting Bauer skates on the market. Since you wear a size 8 in shoes, you can go down to even 6 in a Vapor skate (of course if based on a size 8 Nike shoe because not all shoe brands use the same sizing). I personally wear size 10 Nike shoes, and wear 8090 8D, XXX 8EE, and Nike FL12 7 1/2D. However, I wouldn't be scared to tell you to go EE in the XX's, as the E width is only available in custom skates at Nike Bauer.

Also, if you just have a couple of pressure points in the XX 6 1/2 D, have them punched out in the key areas (bone spurs).

also how long have you had them? and like jimmy said if its just a few areas or the width it can be stretched out aslong as your heel is staying down thats the main concern. remember a skate can be made bigger never smaller
