Nike skates

Recommended Posts

I need some help. I had a chance to try some nike v12's on today and they felt great except the toe box was a little to tight. I have very wide feet 3E and they did not have any wides to try on. I tried some flexlite 12's on a few days ago in a wide and it felt like the heel was a little wider also. Is the wider Nike skate also wider in the heel. The V12 was not super tight and I was tempted to get it and hope it streched a little beacause it fit so great besides that. I has slightly thicker socks than normal on also.

hi,

I have a Nike v-force myself. which is the same as V-12.

Strange that u found the toe box is tight because this model is simply the largest toe box ever made.

I heard that the heel of flexlite is wider than the V-series. so if u need tighter heels, u may have to stick with the v-series.

For the v, one thing u have to see is how your instep fit into the skate. I have trouble with the spot where the toebox and the tongue join. That spot is closer to you than other skate because of the large toe box. There is not enogh room (height-wise) for my left thick foot. I have no problem with my right though.

In fact I may have to sell the skate because of that.

I have a wide wide feet too, I strongly suggest u not to take the D width.

Try on the Bauer 8090, if it fits, it is better than the Nikes.

good luck

Thanks for the help. I tried the 8090 in a EE and it was tight in the toe cap. My foot actually measures a little over EEE. I am going to try the flexlite one more time just to see. I was a little rushed the day I tried them on. I need a deep wide fitting skate and the nike's seem to fit that bill the closest, but I just can't stand it when my heel slips.
