Skating videos...the same?

I'm about to play roller again after a few years off. Anyways, I was looking into videos/books and then once I'm comfortable again I'm going for private lessons. All of the videos I have seen on skating have been for ice...would these work for roller to? Or would it be a waste? Thanks for the help!
