Ebay E-mail

Got this tonight from ebay....I know this has been brought up before.

When Ebay does send e-mails are they addressed to you by user name or by your real name? I don't think I've ever giotten an e-mail from Ebay (which probably answers my question) that wasn't related to a sale/question that I initiated. Here is the text I got:

Considering eBay is headquartered in the Bay area, I don't know why their subsidiary from Switzerland -- presuming it exists -- would be sending out the survey.

Thus, I'm voting forgery. :D

You also live in Canada, so it would make more sense for eBay Canada to be contacting you. It's likely that they wouldn't try to conduct a survey via email anyway, and would instead have popups on their site...

If you have an account with Ebay... to be safe, go to "MY EBAY"...all the legit emails ebay send you are right there under messages... If its not...ebay did not send it....

or if you have a question on an email...forward it to spoof@ebay.com and within minutes you will have a second email with an answer(after their instant thank you for sending this email 1st reply)
