vaughn player gloves

Was given a pair of vaughn player gloves last year from my uncle brand new. Said he picked them up in canada at a proshop. Well these gloves didnt hold up long. After one season of HS hockey the palms were almost gone and the leather on the thumb is rubben off. Anyone have issues with these gloves?

Oh yeah im worken in my second season with them and if I dont get gloves by the up comming holliday im in trouble
