Recommended Posts

Right now i have nylon hgts that i use only for ice and right now im not playing ice and i was wondering would nylon gloves get torn up really bad inline. I have some z-airs that i normally use for roller but i like my hgts wayyy more.

Depends on what type of surface. If you're playing on an indoor sportcourt/tiled surface, they should be fine. If you're playing outdoors, then dont bother using them unless you want huge tears in them.

I only use nylon gloves, skate on sportcourt, and I have yet to rip nylon gloves.

But...

The leather part (usually the cuff area) of some of my gloves gets burned to HELL. It's why I use nylon gloves. If I used all leather, they'd get beat up pretty bad.

Im playing on sport court so i guess ill be okay. Also one other thing if i use a old synthesis blade i have thats just laying around well it get really torn up. For some reason ive been scared to use my ice stuff because of the increased friction.

The most damage SportCourt will do to a blade, wood or graphite, is kinda scuff the paint on the bottom of the blade.

I've used my RBK 6K's on sport court for the last 4-5 months and they are holding up fine, better than synthetic leather gloves i've used in the past.

I use Nylon inside and outside and there has been very little damage if at all. Normal wear and tear. I am a power forward who spends almost as much time prone as erect for my troubles
