Stars Extend Turco Contract

Dallas Stars General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that the club has signed goaltender Marty Turco to a four-year extension through the 2009-2010 season. Turco's current contract was set to expire at the conclusion of this season. Turco, 30, has appeared in 33 games with the Stars this season, going 20-11-2 with a 2.44 goals-against-average and a .901 save percentage with three shutouts.

4 years for $22.8 mill, is alot, but Turco's a hell of a goalie.

I love to watch him play. Makes some amazing saves.

He's a great goalie during the regular season. Hopefully this year he will have some playoff success.
