It is a mid level skates for people with relatively wide foot.

That's a comfortable boot and should be fairly easy to break in.

but mind u the craftmanship of Nike skates may not be too good. Some stitching and sticking may not be done properly.

Do check your skate BEFORE u sharpen them and ask for exchange if something wrong. Especially, check the aligment of the holder to the boot. Make sure the holder is perpendicular to the tendon guard.

thanks for the info.

by the way, what exactly is the tendon guard?

the thing that stick up from the heel. at the back of the skate.

My younger brother has these skates. He's had them for about half a year now, with no problems. He trains 2-3 times a week and they seem to be holding up fine, Only cosmetic blemishes nothing that affects the skates proformance. The skates are very similar to the V-12 so if you get a chance to try them out b4 your V-10s you will know what your in for.

I have these skates and they are nice but about a month after using them during a game the steel blade on the skate cracked all the way through. My friend has the same skate and the same thing happened to him. Nike is paying for the repairs though but I had to borrow some skates while i waited for them to get done (nearest pro shop that could do its a ways away) so it was a bit of a hastle. Besides that there a good skate and have held up fine and I play 2-3 times a week. Good luck.
