Vector pro pains

I didn't find a topic on this, but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem... Over te top eyelet on my vector pros, ive been leaning forward and it wore away the fabric/leather or whatever showing the plastic which has been digging right in above my ankle bone... anythin I can put right there to soften it up... also... this is not a problem...but has anyone with these skates noticed the silver coloring on the outsole wearing off?

Three eyelets on my Vector Pros fell out. Plastic is sticking out. Foam ankle pads have packed down and do not hold the heel in. Cranking on the laces caused a bad lace byte. They were great skates when I bought them. But somthing like 9 months later, they had to be retired.
