pldhockey4 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 around here birk's and croc's are very very very popular. at the catholic school it seems tons wear the real birkenstocks, but a t the public, mostly they wear fake ones. i go to the opublic school and have real ones. but thats beside the point.imo the crocs are HORRID and i love my birkenstocks, but the cork on the back is starting to wear down. any tips how to fix them, or should i just get new ones? I think that I could be the only one around here that doesn't own a pair. Every store that you go to has a croc stand, even some of the hockey shops. It's crazy. sherwood21 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 There's a protective coating you can get to put over your cork, which you should have done as soon as you bought them. Go to the store you got them from and ask for the cork protector and you can get it for 10 bucks or so, it'll last a long time and help your cork last Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
