skate width

hi, I was just wondering if having too wide of a skate will have any effect on skating...I'm using a pair of my friend's 8.5 EEs but my feet arent too wide and though my heel is pretty secure when i tie it I can still wiggle my toes and move them around a bit in there...is this a problem?

nah dun think so. accually i like the the freedom of moving my toes around in the toe box if you know what i mean.
