SL connenction point like XN10

i got my warranty replacement sl grip today

LOVE IT

anyways

we all know its gonna break soon

so i was checking out the blade

and i saw the same bump/line at the hosel as i do on my XN10

do you guys think this could be heated and the blade removed easy like the xn10

or will i have to cut then chisel and hammer to make the tapered shaft

I don't know about the new SLs, but I had an 05 and that blade was not coming out with heat. Had to be cut, chiseled, etc.

No, but try going to your LHS. I know the Gear Zone by me does all that kind of stuff and if they like you it's free.

SL blades do not come out eazy. heating doesnt work. trust me, ive recently tryed to do it. chizzeling works but takes forever and you have to be VERY carful.
