Changing Pitch.

Recommended Posts

Hello guy's.. I recently got my first pair of Mission skates with the Pitch holder. Now, it came with one tool, what seems to be an allan key with a large red handle but that is the only thing it came with. I was wondering how to change the pitch to "+1". Do I need more than one tool?

If it's any help the skates are Pure L7's.

Type of skate doesn't really matter.

Since it's the first time changing the pitch, I would recommend unscrewing both screws (front and back) and taking both the male and female parts out. Then take the blade out all the way, and then put it back in. When you put it back in screw the front screw back in all the way, and then line up the +1 line with the bottom of the holder and put the screw back in the correct way.

You only need that one tool. BTW, it's a Robertson screwdriver, not an Allan wrench. :P

I would concur with that advice. (crazy Canadians with their crazy screwdrivers!!)

I set my Kors to pitch 1, and while it took about half a game to get used to, I think I ended up liking it a lot. It changed my center of weight from my heels to the balls of my feet, which I think gives me a bit more power in my stride. But, I did feel like I was skating on high heels for a bit!!
