Rink Rat MB816 Yellow/Blue 78A Opinions?

I have the 76A White/Blue version but I'm thinking of putting the 78A in for my center two wheels for a little more speed.

On ePuck some review said the 78A version doesn't have enough grip and had a lot less grip then the 78A Hornets. Can anyone verify this? Has anyone used both 76A and 78A MB816's?

If you like alot of grip, stay away from the 78a's. They are realy fast, but the grip blows. I switched to 76a (with my 9500's) and I was much happier.

Yea... but I'm 190lbs and I'd think they "might" be ok for me. I'd keep the front and rear wheel at 76A and the middle two at 78A.

How much did you weigh on the 78's?

I just tried out the 78A mb816's last night and they were pretty solid. I had lots of grip and they were really fast. They made my skates feel way lighter compared to when I had 608 hub hornets on them.

Pretty happy with them so far - we'll see how they hold up after a few more weeks.

Specs: 180lbs, RR MB816s 78A, Sensor Chassis, Swiss Mini Bearings, Vapor XV boot

At the time I used them I was up around 200 lbs. (Early January) Since then I have dropped to 175. IDK I just didnt feel like I had the grip that I had with my hornets.
