Foot Size to Skate Size

i wear size 11 shoes and the skate i have currently are too big. the skates are ccm92s size 10. i figured since i was ordering them online i would repsect the lhs and not go in to be measured for skates and then leave after wasting their time. i wanna make sure i get these skates perfect or close enough to it. i measured my feet with a ruler going by directions on a number of different sites and they all point to a shoe size of 10.5. i'm getting ccm852s from 2004 and i was wondering since most sizing charts for ccm say that the skates are 1.5 sizes down from your shoe size. do i go with the 8.5s or 9.0s for the size?
