Blade repair, how is it worth it?

For a shaft, 30$cnd(awsome price!) add no weight.perfect! Have nothing to say.

But a Blade repair.(around 70cnd) to get the toe of my Z-carbon Sicore restiffer. Should i be better to buy just a new blade.Do the sillicone insert in the blade will be damaged??

(No debate on: do the sicore really have sillicone or not, IMO on my 3 sicore blades all had very good feeling!)
