Flat Feet - Mission 9500 Skates

Recommended Posts

Anyone have flat feet and own the Mission 9500s? The arches for this years model seem higher than normal, and are digging into my arches. They hurt like hell after 10 minutes of skating. Any suggestions? like new footbeds or anything???? The skates seem awesome, so i need to find some way to make it work!

I had to sell mine. Skated 6 or so games in them but the arches killed my feet. My feet would be shaking on the bench between shifts and I couldn't stand on them for 5-10 minutes after each game after taking my skates off. They're great skates... they just don't fit feet with flat arches.

I have some downstairs, but haven't used them yet. Missions have always given me trouble with their insoles, but I switched out for some Graf ones last year and it made all the difference in the world. This year I'm going to try those cheapo "pillow" insoles from DR. Scholles and give'em a go. Just because I had to go up a size for width and I don't have any insoles to match these at this point. I did it for Grafs when I thought I lost my insoles and it worked.

Thanks shute, ill try to even out the arches and see how that works. I would hate to have to sell these skates cause of arch problems. Ive been using Mission skates for a while now, and these are the first pair that ive had problems with.

does anyone know any good skates for wide feet and flat arches. i just hav a pair of bauer 30-50s with Hyper Trinitys on them and they just aren't working. i want to spend somewhere around 250CDN and i just want a comfortable boot for a good price. another question, does anyone know any good stores in the GTA to buy inline skates? i dont want to risk messing up the size buying online.
