Rebels Ice hockey 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2006 I found a broken rbk 7k ops at the rink last night and I would like to replace the blade to make it usable. Only the blade is broken, the shaft appears to be fine. The stick is burned on the bottom where it looks like the owner tried to remove the blade with a propane torch. I spent a good 20 minutes today with a heat gun trying to get the blade out, but the blade wouldnt budge. I definitly see a joint where the shaft meets the blade, but it seems no matter how much I heat it, the blade doesnt budge. Any tips? I successfully replaced the blade in my xn-10 with no problem. LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 Not all fused ops can be heated and pulled apart. Id just cut it and put in a tapered blade.
whbd18 0 Report post Posted March 12, 2006 I think the 7k is a true ops.Usually if its fused there is a line at the fuse point.Ive never seen a line on a 7K.
