HGT Glove owners

I just got my HGTs today and was wondering if you guys leave the inserts in or out and what is the big difference. I've never worn a glove without hyperextension protection and have never come across that injury. How bad is it?

I keep them in,I see no reason why they would need to be taken out in the first place.

Same here, I can't see any reason why anyone would need to open their hand that wide anyway

i keep them in, i've worn gloves without hyperextension protection before, and wouldn't you know it....I hyperextended my thumb from a fall in roller hockey....
