golfpuck 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2006 i sold a stick on ebay, and the stick was a bit delayed arriving to the buyer.it was sent fedex.the buyer claims the stick arrived broken in the shaft.i wasnt too surprised cause the stick took a week longer than it would normally.it was sent with insurance.but when i asked for pics, he ignored my emails and said he was going to start his own claim.. and hasnt sent me any messages since...i suspect, he might be scamming fedex for the insurance $, when the stick is really fine...at least he hasnt left negative feedback or anything.. yet..should i do anything?any one put a claim through fedex? experiences?i thought only the sender could file a damage claim? AlabamaICE 0 Report post Posted March 18, 2006 I don't know. I've been pretty lucky with my Ebay buying/selling. I would just keep trying to request pics from him and keep sending emails. You might email Ebay and let them know what you suspect is going on. Have you checked his feedback to see if he has a decent track record?
golfpuck 0 Report post Posted March 24, 2006 he recently got several bad feedbacks.but before, he won my auction. looks like he was trying to scam as many people as he could before he quit.
Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted March 24, 2006 My understanding is a claim can only be filed by whomever pays for the shipment. If you paid Fed Ex, then were reimbursed by the buyer, I believe you still would be the one who has to file the claim.
