Graf 609's

I have a somewhat narrow heel and a wider fore foot. I bought bauer vapour 7's and that was the worst skate in my life. It hurt my foot on the side. IT might of been because I was tying them too tight but if I didn't tie them tight then I wouldn't have enought support to skate.

I was thinking of either the graf 609's or the graf 705's. Which one would fit my foot best? Which one is better.

Try both on. 609 is a lower model compared to the 705, so you may want to check into the 709s as well.

709 is stiffer, so initially feels slightly different, but the actual fit it the same once broken in.

The 609 is last years model, it is not available for 2006.

If you have a high instep, thick foot, thick ankle/heel area, then the 609 or 709 is for you. The 709 is much stiffer.

If you have a somewhat "normal" instep, normal heel ankle area, then try the 705. Keep in mind the 705 is stiffer than the 609, but not as stiff as the 709
