analog999 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2006 I'm looking for some books or training materials that could help improve my awareness of game conditions. I searched the archives but couldn't find anyone specifically asking this question. I had previously asked about Total Hockey by Kevin Constantine, which I think is good but over priced. Anyone have any other suggestions? I'd like to know stuff like "Strong side wing should hold up a forechecker before going to his breakout spot." "Weak side wing should not leave the zone if the puck is contested." Etc etc. I know for some of you this comes natural, and certainly watching the game helps, but to really know what I should be doing out there and making it clear in my head before I hit the ice would be nice.
