Durability of 2004 Synergies?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how durable the 2004 Easton Synergy range is?

After the abmismal quality of the 2003 stock I was wondering if anyone has any feedback about the new stuff as I am considering buying one.

Another thing, does the grip coating peel off on the 2004's?

Welcome to MSH. There is probably something in the search if you try that.

I have used my new SiCore Grip for 15 skates, and 3 games of huff and puff (RE: Slash and Ski) hockey games and I'm impressed. The grip is a bit less tenatious then the '03 version and hasn't started to peel yet. I too have felt the sting of Easton's '03 decision to decide against quality but the '04 sticks and especially the composite replacement blades seem very inspiring. Easton must have warrentied every stick they sold in '03 and retooled to make quality products again.

Thats good news. I saw SO many 2003 sticks break.

I wish they would go back to the 2002 grip that stuff was awesome - and is still on my stick!

Anyone else have any 2004 feedback?
