MSN Messenger Help

Ok, so i have this problem that just occured with my MSN. I cannot hear sounds like when people sign in, and nudges etc.. I tried everything from restarting my comp, to re-installing MSN, but still nothing. Nothing is muted, i have already looked through eveything i could think of. Anybody have an idea?

When you have your list of contacts up, go to "Personal Settings", then once there, go to "Alerts and Sounds". Make sure that "Play a sound when a contact signs in or sends a message" is checked.

Yea yea i know, i had to download 8.0 and got sound. Its good for now. We'll see if it happens when i go back to 7.5 again.
