Tendency of pro curves

Recommended Posts

So I've been wondering about this for a while....it seems like the majority of pro hockey players out there use heel curves with not much curve to them. I know theres alot of players out there that use huge toe hooks and whatnot...but i dont understand the trend towards small curves. I would think a pro should be able to RIP a shot with something like a sakic..which is what i use. I know alot has to do with preference...but is theres something else im missing out not usin one of these curves?

It's PP. Whatever the pros are most comfortable is what they are going to use. Most pros can RIP a shot no matter what curve they use. Plus, the pros must have a legal curve. So that limits them on what they can and cannot use.
