replacing blade on Ballistik OPS

I was given an intermediate Ballistik OPS which is not broken, but i want to replace the blade. I've got a Hespeler graphite F4 blade which I'm hoping will fit the shaft.

How do I tell if the blade is fused to the shaft or if it is a true one piece?

Would I have to cut the blade and dig out the remaining tenon or can I just heat the stick and pull the blade out?

Any commentary on the process is much appreciated.

see if the blade fits in the grip end. If it does, shove it in there and cut off the other side.

SRI, so if the blade is indeed fused, I can heat it and try to get it out in one piece?

If that tactic doesn't work, flipping the stick is a good second option.
