Bauer 6000 vs 8000 Pants

Is there anything about the 8000's that make purchasing them worth going over the 6000? They all seem to be the same pant besides on the 6000's there is no tie in the front, segmented kidney protector and less abrasion material and a non adjustable spine protector. Anybody find any of these features worth going with one over the other?

I went back 'n forth over those two pants as well and I ended up purchasing the 6000. I feel they are a fine choice and I've been very happy with them.
