Itech Kinetix 4 shoulder pads VS Sherwood 5030

I currently have a pair of Itech Kinetix 4 shoulder pads that look like this...

i feel that these are slightly a little bulky, and i just play recreational drop in hockey during the week. I prefer lighter and not as bulky equipement, would youi guys suggest the Sherwood 5030 traditional shoulder pads?

Any input isappreciated!
