LetsGoWings13 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2006 Ok my lhs has a jofa hockey bag on sale for 25 dollars. For those of you who have these how have they held up and is the bag nice? Also it seems like most of the newer elbow pads are not in a 3 piece set up. What elbow pads that are a little bit older in a 3 piece style are nice? How are the itech techlite elbow pads? ambro 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2006 I dunno about the bag, but Mission M-1 elbows should fit what you're looking for. They're excellent pads.

These things are super protective, have 4 straps and are just awesome. They are just as mobile if not MORE mobile than the v-10s.
KillerCarlson 0 Report post Posted August 11, 2006 I've got a Jofa bag, and frankly I'm looking to get rid of it. It's not really a bad bag...aside from two snaps (and one zipper "handle") breaking, it's held up pretty well.My biggest complaint is with the size. For a 6' 1" guy...it's a little tight fitting all my gear in there. No room for brewski's you see...kidding. But it is too small for my liking. That assuing we are talking about the same Jofa bag... KillerCarlson 0 Report post Posted August 12, 2006 That's really similar to the bag I have...maybe a newer (year) model?Anyways...to your question, it wasn't very long at all before the snaps came out (they snap itself actually came dis-lodged from the material in the handle).I like the skate pockets, and the large outside storage pocket. Overall durability seems fine. Just the problem with the snaps...oh, and I couldn't get the shoulder strap working well (it would slip - make itself longer - a lot).Prolly not a BAD bag if you really like it...
