Pro Shell

Hi I doubt there is anyone that can help me, but I was curious if anyone had access to any secret people that would be able to find a Columbus Blue Jackets pants shell, either padded or not. I searched ebay, and google so there are no online retailers, but I figured if someone lived in the Columbus area they may have secret connections, or maybe some other possibilities. I know it's a long shot if ebay doesn't have it, but I figured this site has come through fairly big before so why not again?

if you get lucky you can do what I did

since retailers aren't allowed to sell team logo patches for some reason, I bought a navy pant shell, a bunch of NHL shield patches, and I was lucky to find a pack of 4 canuck patches that are the perfect size for the shell. Position it properly, sew it on and voila. Look around on eBay for the patches.

I am actually not in it for the patches, but I understand what you were thinking. Columbus actually doesn't put their logos on the pants, I just wanted the color scheme with the blue line at the bottom, I really would like to get the pro returns from eastwesthockey.com, but its gonna be hard to justify to the parents the price. They think that I will get the the same protection in the hip area, (discussed in my other topic) if I get $145 pair of pants and an $80 dollar pair of pants. I don't have proof to explain it so its hard lol.

tell them you'll have proof once you get them :P

or just say if its exactly what the pros use they must be good

anyway, keep checking ebay, theres always pro return shells there and I've seen a couple columbus ones. They had some columbus pro pants in my area but it was a sport liquidation thing with all THC stuff
