OK, GH ID, I can get no tears and no cuts... but how in the world did you manage NO SMELL???

What's your secret?

I've had my Bauer XXXs for about 3 months playing twice a week, no smell either. I know it's still early, but they actually started to smell before I started this new thing I'm doing. Before every game, just before I head out to the ice, I disinfect my hands with some hand sanitizer (I use Purell). When I get home, I air dry all of my equipment and actually place my gloves over our floor vent (where the air conditioning comes out). This keeps them cool and prevents an accomodating environment for bacterial growth which is responsible for the smell.

Why does everybody care about their equipment smelling? It's hockey equipment...it's supposed to smell.

In my other sports equipment (i.e. football gloves), after I wore them my hands would smell for a day or so. I can pass on people wondering about my hygiene. <_< It takes me two seconds to throw on some Purell, why not?

I had gotten a pair of MIAS and i had the kangaroo palms and the guy said that there was a bad batch of the palms and they wouldnt stop ripping as he had a bunch of people bring them back. So i bought new ones and got the palm with two diff types of material (cant remember what its called) and theyve been holding up amazing.

No I didnt get freee gloves because they took the gloves back and im not getting another pair of MIA's.
