Skate Breakin question

I was trying on some new skates and there was a tightness at the edge of the balls of my feet. Almost a mild discomfort. Would this go away with baking or breaking in? The length is perfect, my toes feather the toecap as I stand up.

well was it only the side toe area where the toe cap is that bothered you and the rest of the boot felt fine well then that area can be worked around because when im fitting skates if 90% of the boot feels great then the other 10% shouldnt be a major factor because that 10% can be worked around with heating and stretching

It was only the sides of the balls of my feet. The toes felt fine, as did the heel.
