Auld vs Leafs

Is it Aulds skill or leafs satisfactory scoring? And how can they make their offense better. I think suglobov needs some ice time.

It's been 2 years since I always wonder why Wellwood is not playing with the big team. This year, he's maybe the best Leafs forward since the beginning of the season. I wish for Leafs fans I will not be wondering the same thing for 2 years with Suglobov. He will bring offensive punch to the roster for sure.

Yeah, i agree. Wellwood did pretty good tonight. Raycroft is looking alright... hes better then belfour but hes not in the rookie form on two years ago. But i think/hope toronto has a chance to make 7 or 8 spot this year.That is if the defensive core stays healthy and wellwood,tucker and sundin have good seasons.Anyone know how long kubina is out?

Thought the same exact thing-- made me happy last year when Don Cherry bashed the Leafs for not bringing him up at the beggining of the year.

Its was because Pat Quinn was stubborn and didnt want to bring up a youngin

Kubina got Marchment'ed pretty good. Going solely off his reaction, it looked serious.

I don't know how much better you want Raycroft to be. Through 4 games he is 2-1-1, 1 shutout, a GAA of around 1.5, and a SA% of around .950. Most importantly, he is giving the Leafs an opportunity to win each game, which is all you can ask of him.

I have a hard time saying anyone other than Sundin is the Leafs' best forward, but Wellwood has been simply amazing so far.

I think Welly was called up after the Sundin injury last season and played the rest of the way. So he missed 1 game last season, although he should've made the team out of camp.

Wellwood, Stajan, Pontikarovsky, etc is the future of the leafs.

Auld made like 50 saves that game. Florida was horrible that game, and they shouldn't have been in it. Auld was the reason it even got to OT, let alone a shootout.

yeah, and plus Auld is an Amazing goalie for the price.
